inlet where statuesque blue herons wait for fish and deer
come to drink at dawn and dusk. The soft colors and
comfortably appointed rooms encourage guests to surrender to
the peaceful surroundings. A private entrance leads directly
onto a spacious, shaded deck that catches a cooling breeze
most of the year. Enjoy sweeping views of Lake Buchanan as
you catch a glimpse of the graceful blue herons, bright red
cardinals and elegant white egrets.
The private master bedroom boasts a comfortable king-size
Sleep Number bed and walk in closet. Read your favorite
novel in one of the living area’s La-Z-Boy recliners or
futon couch, take pictures of the lake and wildlife for your
photo album or write in your journal at the window-side
writing table overlooking the water below. Before bed, take
advantage of a relaxing bath in the soaking tub as
illuminated stained glass artwork bathes the room in a soft
glow.
